Congrats Aunt DD

We are so proud to announce that Aunt DD ( Danielle) is getting married to Christopher. We are so excited and look forward to this great addition to our family. Elcee Pearl and Abee Ruth love Aunt DD and now they are so excited to have another uncle. We are so thankful for this exciting news and look forward to all the coming plans.

A Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday, Justin and I took Elcee to the Columbia Zoo. We had a break from swimming lessons for a day and we decided to do something fun with Elcee. The Zoo was so nice but it was a really hot day. It was fun to go and see all the animals. Elcee the whole time just wanted to see a Panda, who knows why, and of course they did not have any Pandas. There was this really nice lady, who gave us this wrist band to use and so Elcee was able to get to ride all these extras rides for free. She got to ride the train and then she got to go on the carosuel and would you know, they had a Panda for her to ride on. So she got her wish afterall.

The highlight of the trip for all of us, was when Elcee got to feed the giraffes lettuce. It was so neat and it was a lot of fun. Elcee loved the zoo. We were so thankful that we were able to go and we look forward to getting to go again.

Swimming and Picture Fun

During the month of June, I teach swimming lessons in my parent's backyard. It is a fun time for us to get to spend time with my family. My sister also teachers and so we get to spend a lot of time with her and my parents. My sister is a great photographer. She does a good job of capturing memories for me of my children that I would not have otherwise; because I often forget to take the pictures. So we have been here in a Augusta for a few weeks and Elcee gets to go swimming everyday when all the kids go home. She is becoming more comfortable in the water and swimming is now one of her favorite past times. I just had to upload this video, b/c it is Elcee doing what she loves swimming, while letting her Aunt DD, know not to take her picture anymore.
