Easter Egg Hunt

Elcee got to go to the Easter Egg Hunt at church last week. it was special b/c it was the first time that she was excited about going to the hunt. We spent the morning putting candy into our egss, b/c each child had to bring so many eggs with them. Elcee was so excited about her hunt. They had lots of fun activities. When the hunt began, Elcee picked up her first egg and every egg to make sure there was candy in it. You have never seen a slower person at an Easter egg hunt b/c she had to check to see that the candy was in the egg open the egg and then pour the candy into her basket separate from the egg. It was too funny to watch. Justin was trying to get her to hurry, but she was in no hurry.

Family Fun with the Boerms

We had the special treat and Kurt, Judy, Brendon and Mitchell coming to visit us on the way down to Grandma Shirley and Herm's house in Florida. It was a special treat. We do not get to see them very often and so wish that we got to see them more. Elcee has met them a few times before, but she does not remember. This time she remembered and it was special b/c she got to see them on their way to Florida and then will they were coming back through. Elcee wanted to go home with them to see the cows on their farm, so hopefully one day we will get to visit them.

Abee Ruth

I am so behind in posting anything that I have a lot to catch up on. Abee has her four month check up at the doctor weeks ago, but I am just getting to writing about it. Abee Ruth is such a sweet baby. I was curious to see how much she would weigh when we took her to the doctor. She weighed just 11 pounds and 13 ounces. She is growing great, she is just so petite and little compared to Elcee. Elcee weighed that much a week after she was born, or so it feel like. Anyway, Abee has been learning to eat cereal. We have a video of her below. We quickly learned not to try to teach her to eat cereal with Elcee around. Elcee gets so upset that she is making a mess. She says, " NO Abee, NO NO... need a napkin Abee No." Elcee does not like the fact that Abee gets cereal all over her mouth. I have one very clean child. Abee is such a sweet joy to our lives and we look forward to watching her grow.
