Elcee's 2 year old birthday

On March 26th we celebrated Elcee Pearl's 2 year old birthday. It is so crazy to think how fast 2 years have gone. Elcee brings such sweet joy to our lives. She is such a happy child and she blesses our lives in so many ways. Elcee loves to play outside and will beg you to go outside and cry when she has to come in no matter how long she has been out there for. Elcee loves to go to sleep and oftentimes asks us if she can go to bed and will run down the hall way to get to go to sleep. Elcee is a walking parrot, who repeats whatever you say and questions all the time and speaks in paragraphs.

Elcee is so sweet to her sister, she is very possessive of her. Elcee loves her and worries about her and cannot handle for Abee to cry, so much so that a few Sunday's ago at church, she told her nursery worker that she needed to go to the other room to check on Abee b/c she heard Abee crying. We are so thankful for Elcee and pray that she would love the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind and strength. We could not be blessed more by the small things that Elcee does every day. She is the meaning of her name... Elcee means joy and she brings such joy to our lives.

Elcee had an Elmo party, b/c that is really the only person she knows anyway. It was a beautiful day and she was so excited. We were so thankful that our family was able to come and our special neighbors Mema and Grand daddy Moss. We went to the park for a cook-out. My mom surprised us with Elmo shirts for everyone and a special Elmo dress for Elcee that she made.
